I.       STANDARD SESSIONS

      Description:      Our standard sessions last two full hours.  We meet with couples as a husband and wife team thus bringing the perspectives of both sexes into the session.  The approach includes training and coaching in proven tools to enhance marital intimacy – spiritually, emotionally, and physically – as well as counseling for a couple’s specific issues.

      Fee Structure:     $150 per two-hour session; additional hours are billed at $75/hour.

II.     EXTENDED SESSIONS

      Description:       Often a couple will be struggling with an issue that needs immediate care to prevent it from becoming more volatile or result in separation or considerations of divorce.  They cannot prolong their current situation over a matter of weeks, so we offer extended, four-hour sessions in order to accelerate the progress towards resolution and healing.

      Fee Structure:     $300 per four-hour session.

 III.    FULL DAY SESSIONS

      Description:       These eight-hour sessions include lunch.  As in the case of all extended sessions, the full-day coaching and counseling appointment accelerates the progress the couple can make in changing the patterns of their marriage.  Experiential exercises play a key role in helping the couple to move the tools and process from their heads to their hearts so that they leave the session with new perspectives.

      Fee Structure:    $600 for the eight-hour session, including lunch.

 IV.    MINI-INTENSIVES

      Description:       Mini-Intensives must be scheduled well in advance.  The couple meets with Gary and Elvira over two days.  This approach has proven very effective for a variety of situations, including those couples who have reached a crisis point in their relationship or those seeking a safe counseling environment away from home. 

      Fee Structure:   $1,000 for the two-day session, including two lunches, at our Roswell location.
$1,950 for two-day session at WinShape Retreat, all meals and lodging included.

V.    PRE-INTENSIVE SESSION - WINSHAPE RETREAT CENTER

      Description:     These special sessions are held in partnership with the Center for Relational Care, Austin, TX, to lay the foundation for couples who have registered to attend the four-day Marriage Intensive at the WinShape Retreat Center in Rome, GA. The Pre-Intensive Session provides the couple with the prerequisite exposure to the principles of Intimacy Therapy that is required for participation in the four-day program and greatly enhances the experience and benefit of the intensive.

Mourning Dove Ministries is a non-profit coaching and counseling ministry whose mission is to positively impact marriages through God’s intervention.
